I had windows xp home edition. i upgraded to xp pro.
I lost the hibernate function and the standby function.
It appears greyed out on the shut down menu.
I have no tab in the power options menu that configures
the hibernate function.
Can someone help?

Regards.
Adam

Hi Adam,

Start updating your dirvers with WinXP compliant ones from the web sites of
the hardware and system manufacturer.

not sure what you mean by that? go to the site of where
i bought my computer from and look for drivers? drivers
only allow for communication between hardware, and
software though.
What does that have to do with the hibernate function?

Regards,
Adam
