Missing Files

I used Norton Clean Sweep and noticed a folder on my
desktop was missing. It was about 14mb. It disappeared,
I ran system restore, and the folders reapeared, but all
the files were gone. I was able to restore some of them
through System Mechanic from the Fix Invalid Shortcuts
tab. I have found the files but cannot restore them as
they are invalid, deleted or missing.

This happening when you delete a file:
Actually the file is market (tag) as empty space, for been
use next time the system need this empty space where the
file was located. In fact, al the information is still
there, just that the "tag" is telling the system that this
file has been deleted. So, you need to stop doing whatever
you do in your computer, to prevent the system to override
your data. If you really want to recover your files
intact. The other thing you need todo, is get one of those
utilities like GetBackData for NTFS, that let you recover
those deleted files.
