missing file

Hi, I run Windows xp.
When I log in I keep getting an annoying message and would
appreciate any help in removing it basically it keeps
saying that windows cannot find 'audcntr.exe'
Anyone any ideas for a user not a techi!!

Most likely, you need to reinstall the drivers for your soundcard or check
the soundcard manufacturer's website for the latest XP drivers for your
soundcard.
