Missing file

Whenever I go into Norton One Button Check Up, it
highlights a Program Integrity Error. Details are -
C\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\InstallShield\Professional\RunT
ime\0701\Intel32\DotNetInstaller.exe cannot access a
necessary file "mscoree.dll"
The program fixes it but it is still there next time I
run the checkup. Is this important and how do I recover
it. I am not a computer expert so simple language and
instructions would be much appreciated please.

Norton is apparently looking for the "mscoree.dll" file which
is included in .NET Framework. You can choose to ignore
this Norton alert, or you can install .NET Framework. You
can download it by visiting the Windows Update website.
