Hi all,
I have a WinXP Home edition machine with 3 user accounts
set up using the welcome screen. On one of the user
accounts, all of the desktop items have disappeared. I've
checked the start bar properties, looked in the desktop
folder for that user (all items are in the folder)to make
sure the items are still there, etc, but nothing I change
or re-configure seems to bring the items back. All other
users have the desktop items that they created whne they
log in. The display properties can see different desktop
images/patterns without any problems - it's just the
desktop icons/items that are missing. Does anyone know how
to rebuild a desktop in WinXP Home?
