Missing applications

Hi all really need some help here I have windows XP and just had computer
worked on, it locked on me and couldn't get operating system back well that
was on fixed and when i got the computer back I am missing most of my
programs that windows XP came with such as the hp tools, application
recovery, system recovery,record now, microsoft word and generally everything
that came with windows XP can some one tell me what has happened?

You have to re-install everything from the original CDs..
