Hi, in registry, there is a Mirosoft entry under
Microsoft. Is that supposed to be there? Could that be
causing my problems. I am having problems navigating
within a page and my modem recycling itself. Thanks.

Mags,

There the registry key you describe is not created as part of the default
install for Windows XP. That said, it is probably unrelated to your
symptom.

What's the exact registry path? Some examples are:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon; and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
