while receiving mirosoft updates I get an alert from Spy sweeper about a file called, 'wextract-cleanup0'. There is no product name, company name or copyright information provided. It's attching itself to;
rundll32.exe C;\windows\systems32advpack.dll,delnoderundll32 also in the file - C;\docume~1\pwner\locals~1\temp\Ixp000.tmp\
Registry or startup folder: hklm: run once

Is this spy ware? Should I delete it, if so why am I getting it from microsoft?
How do you make microsoft aware of this?

This could be spyware/adware, however without a thourough analysis I can
not be sure. If you are concerned about this I would suggest you call our

Curtis,

This is related to WEXTRACT.EXE and is a valid entry. Its is used in the process of installations, including cleaning up temporary CAB files and the like.
