Mirar WebBand "toolbar"

Patrick

I noticed a new "toolbar" in my IE 6 browser after I had
recently surfed and when I went to remove it through
deselection, I was not allowed to do so under the view
options for tool bars. I right clicked on it and a window
popped up appropriately titled "Toolbars Removal Helper"
it removes every other toolbar except itself of course. I
have uninstalled IE and reinstalled after running Norton,
Ad-Aware & Spy-ware utilities, but to no avail. Any
adviced would be greatly appreciated.

Patrick,

First option is to *Update* and run Ad-Aware scan (www.lavasoftusa.com). If
the toolbar entries are not removed:

ToolbarCop:

Patrick,
According to their installer, Mirar should be listed in Add Remove?
[If not]

http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

It shows up in HijackThis as:

O3 - Toolbar: Mirar WebBand - {179E4B4A-76C3-4F65-BCED-C9FA1A28D2EF}
- C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\NN_BAR.DLL

O16 - DPF: {2C38A62E-D257-40E8-8BB7-5624E38FEB0A}
