minimize-maximize

Recently whenever I open a page it opens minimized and I have to double click
the top bar to maximize it (or use other means to accomplish the same thing).
How can I make my computer automatically maximize pages as it did in the past?

I don't know what I did to cause the change.

Thanks.

Try this...use your mouse pointer to drag your window boarders to the size
you want, then go to 'file' on your toolbar, and use 'exit' to close the
window. When you open it again, it should 'remember' the last size the
window was before closing.

Open a page, then grab the edges and drag it to the maximum size you
can. Then close it by clicking File | Close. Don't use the "X" to
close the window. It should remember the setting the next time.

First off, minimize means to put down to a button on the taskbar, but I do
know what you are talking about. Here are a couple of things, first, Are you
opening the pages from a link, or an icon (link icon on desktop, or
otherwise). Also, do you have Service Pack 2. If you answered yes to both
questions, I'd like to know what's going on too. I think everyone is having
the same problem. I know that probably didn't help much, but I'm sure
someone out there has a great link to a fix for this problem.

Windows remembers the size of the last Normal IE window closed.
Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.

If that doesn't do it try the REG file here:
