Minimised screens

Help please. When I open any program or internet site it opens as a
minimised screen. How can I change this so that they all open as a "normal"
screen.

Open a browser window, click on the corners and drag the window to full
size. Then close it while holding down the Ctrl key. The next time your
browser should open maximized.
