*.mid downloads

I've posted this on the 'Multimedia group' but no help so far.

Only when online with Windows IE6:

I can't download midi files to my desktop. Left click, double click, right click, all bring up Windows Media Player 2 which plays the song. But "Save Target As" is greyed out and I can't download the file. No problem with OE 6 newsgroups downloading *.mid files, or from my desktop. I use Sonar.exe to work with the files.

WinME, 512M memory, 40G HD, 1300 CPU. This problem is quite new. I've gone back several weeks with System Restore but no luck.

Help will be very appreciated. This is my most important function with the computer.

Just found out I can't download Anything when online with Win IE6. "Save Target As" is always greyed out...no matter what the file is. I think this happened when an Adobe 6 downloading corrupted something. I've removed it but still no success. Any help will be appreciated. bobg

Finally....My problem is that "Save Target As" is always greyed out using WinIE6 online.
OE6 is OK, and 'offline' is OK. Help please. bobg

Success Finally. I had to disable 'Content Advisor' in the browser. Found the solution in a Search on the Microsoft Site. So simple when you learn how! bobg
