Microtek Scanner Software on XP

I've got ScanWizard5 here with a Microtek Scanner. Because it slows down XP
on bootup, I wonder if there is a way to make it boot faster when I have
this software installed. Does anyone here have a similar problem as I have?

You can use Photoshop to get digital photo from Microtek Scanner(I do
this), don't install the ScanWizard.
