Incoming email shows correct font sizes but 'replies' and 'new' messages
reduce type to microsopicly unreadable. I am using Outlook 2007 and the
formating is the same as in Word 2007. Word is working fine. As a
work-around, how to reset all default settings? Thanks.

Have you checked the fonts selected for your emails?

If not, Click on Tools, Options and select the Mail Format tab. In the
middle of the window, you’ll see Stationery and Fonts. Click on the Fonts
button and look at the size of the Message fonts shown. If they’re just as
small, click on the Choose Font button and change the font size! Hope that
helps.

Yes I have tried that and if I select 72 point what shows up now looks like 5
or 6 point--an improvement, but not the solution. Thanks.

Diane--Thanks so much. You are a Genius, an Angel. I don't know how it
happened, but the zoom was set at 10% and I set it to 100% and it was
PERFECT. Thanks again.

You're welcome. It's easy to be a genius for common problems. :) I don't
know how it happens either - but enough people have done it, that it must be
fairly easy to do without realizing it. It may be a mouse function or a
keystroke that's easy to hit.

Hi Diane, I use a USB mouse with my laptop. After this problem I
deactivated the touchpad on the laptop as a possible source of errant
commands. So far, so good. Thanks again to a 'common' genius and a caring
Angel!
