Microsoft Wireless Tranceiver for Bluetooth 2.0

I purchased a Wireless Optical Desktop for Bluetooth 2.0 (Keyboard, mouse,
and tranciever). I am running WinXP with SP2. My computer has never had
Bluetooth before. I installed the software for the mouse and keyboard,
loaded the batteries, and then plugged in the tranciever to a USB port. The
computer gives the popup bubble and said a USB device has malfunctioned. I
check the device manager and it states that there are no drivers installed
for the tranciever. I searched everywhere on the net and cannot find a
driver. I read that it is supposed to be included in SP2 but my computer
cannot find or load them. I do not have any icon under control panel that
says Bluetooth devices. What could be the problem? How do I install
bluetooth on my computer so that I have an Icon in control panel and do you
think I have a bad tranciever? The USB ports are working.

Any help is appreciated

I have the keyboard and mouse software, it came with the package, what I need
is the Tranciever drivers. It did not come with these.
