bluetooth device

I have bluetooth built into my computer. It already works fine with an
bluetooth keyboard. I am trying to connect a new bluetooth mouse. Software is
installed. Device is "discoverable", but wizard is unable to find device.

When I go to Control Panel>Bluetooth Devices>Options
to try to "turn discovery on", I receive an error message that says "unable
to save settings.

So, I cannot "allow" bluetooth devices to find the computer....

Any suggestions?
