Bluetooth Service Error

Hello All!

When trying to make my Bluetooth transceiver discoverable and allow other
devices to connect in Control Panel > Network & Internet Connections >
Bluetooth Devices > Options, after clicking on Apply I get an error message
"Bluetooth Service Error: An error occured while Windows was saving your
settings. The following settings were not saved: Discoverability settings,
Connectible settings".

I have uninstalled/reinstalled the device drivers and uninstalled any
bluetooth software, yet I am still unable to get any other bluetooth device
to connect/pair/discover the PC.

Any help would be gratefully accepted.
