My dog will eat his dinner all through 2007 and 2008. Hopefully in 2009 he
will still be able to eat dinner. Just FYI.

It would be nice if Microsoft got Vista to actually work.
Vista has had the longest and largest beta test of any OS in history.
Microsoft has managed to make consumers pay for the privilege of being beta
testers.
Hopefully SP1 will be the actual release version.
Vista is so bad that if Apple could get its marketing head out of its septic
conduit and release its OS to work with any x86 platform Vista would die the
death it richly deserves. However one presumes the $100 million investment
Microsoft made in Apple to save Apple a few years ago is the only rational
reason this has not come to pass.

Not True, Windows Vista Was Released In 2007, So It Will Be Supported Until
2012 For Home User's And 2017 For Corporate User's. Windows XP Support Will
Terminate In 2009 For Home User's And 2014 For Corporate User's. Windows XP
OEM Sales Will Terminate In 2009 (Which Means That It Will No Longer Be
Available From Dell Or HP, In 2009 OEM's Will Be Required To Stop Selling
Any Windows XP OEM Copies That They Still Have In Inventory, And Switch To
Selling Vista And Vista Only, Just FYI.

You read pretty good, Kev. Howzabout you read what was said, not what you
want said? I don't think Family Guy guy said what he said without a
reason for it.

Vista works fine here. For real. That said, I'd love to try OS X on a PC
platform... but don't see that happening. That's one of the things that
makes it harder for MS to get Windows running on all the PC platforms out
there; so many. Apple only has to develop to a single hardware platform.
Macs. (And, yes, I know there are hacks out there to get OS X running on
PC's, but I'm not really interested in hacks. However, I -am- seriously
considering buying a Mac to add to my Windows network... just have to see
what the budget can fund. Most likely a mini, though I'd prefer a MB or MBP,
but don't think I'll find the funding for either... the wife is a hard nut
to crack.)
