Ok I have to settle this once and for all... Read my reply carefully because
not many will sit here and analyze the situation for you.
Half of those are only that, licenses... people are dual booting with XP, or
are formatting and installing XP mostly...
So indeed they have a Vista liscence, they have even activated Vista, but
are NOT using it.
More of those licenses are actually only the ability to upgrade while the pc
actually comes with XP,
and lots of those are the rights for corporations to install vista whenever
they decide.. this does not mean that they actually have it installed and
are running it.
And now lets not forget the people who are stuck with Vista just because a
new computer is preinstalled with Vista... and they cannot afford a new
license or don't want linux.. they are using vista but they hate it....
and lets ALSO not forget that there is an annual GROWTH anyway in computer
sales.. which is YOU GUESSED IT = 10%.
Since almost ALL new computers come with VISTA, and in most places in the
world its not easy to get a new computer with XP (even in US you cant find
xp computers everywhere). If there are 1 billion computers, then 10% of that
is 1 million. Thus the last year 1 million computers were sold, and most of
them had Vista.
Whatever Vista exists, is NOT because people love it.. but because its being
INJECTED like a pathogenic VIRUS on the "computer environment".
I would estimate that the number of people who have vista and actually like
it, is less than 1% .
And all of them are stupid.
Good news! Vista will not be along for very long. THANK GOD!
MS, got kicked in the rear end for making such a horrid OS (vista) and now
they are
in panic working full speed to make an OS that actually works, the next
version of windows
that is called Windows 7 (for the time being).
http://news.softpedia.com/news/Windows-7-Is-Here-Don-039-t-Give-Vista...
Companies and many people are skipping vista...They will go from XP
directly
to windows 7 and with a good cause... Vista has been the worst OS
microsoft
has ever made...
They sold 90 million license, so how can it be that bad? That is high
sales in any O/S
