I have Microsoft XP on my computer. Periodically, a
message appears on the lower right side of the screen
saying that updates are available to download. When I
try to download them I get at least two messages that say
that a file that I am downloading has not passed Windows
Logo testing and will not be downloaded. If these
updates are coming directly from Microsoft, why does this
happen? Is there something that I have to do? Thanks
for your help as I am confused on this issue.

I am having the same problem and tried the above
solution, but unfortunately it didn't work. I'm still
getting the same error message.
