Microsoft Updates Saying my login does not have admin rights

When I try to do my updates. Windows tells me that I
must use a login with admin rights. All of my logins
have administrative rights but it continues to do the
same thing. I think a virus might have screwed something
up. Any thoughts. The built in administration login
does not show up with my logins and I even tried that but
I don't know what the password for it would be.

Help!
