Microsoft Software Game Question

I purchased a game at the thrift store (Goodwill), Zoo Tycoon Complete
Collection. Can I put this on my pc or will Microsoft lock up my computer
since it is not new? I am in my 60's & thought it was just a game to play
like all the rest I have purchased at thrift stores. Does anyone know how
many computers you can put zoo tycoon on? I went to the Microsoft site &
basically all it talks about is the higher end software for computers, like
Windows XP etc. Help explaining this appreciated.

Usually it is one PC. Zoo Tycoon should have a "license agreement" for
you to agree to as you install it. You can read it there.

I assume that because you posted your question in this particular
newsgroup, you have a computer that uses Windows XP. If that's so, then
as long as the box says "for PC" and not "for MAC" you should be fine.
As long as your computer runs Windows XP, you shouldn't have any problem
meeting these minimum hardware requirements (except that you should make
sure that you have enough space available on your hard drive).

The game's requirements are:

Microsoft® Windows® 98/Me/XP/2000
PC with a 233 MHz processor, 300 MHz recommended
64 MB of system RAM for Windows 98/ME/2000, 128 MB RAM for Windows XP
1.3 GB available hard disk space
4x speed or faster CD-ROM drive
Sound card and speakers or headphones required for audio
DirectX® 8.0 or later
Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
