'Microsoft Shared Fax Driver'

P

Peter Payzant

Hi, all-

I'm getting an error message saying that "The Microsoft Shared Fax Driver
printer driver is not installed on this computer".

What do I do now?

The details are in my previous posting with "Cardinal fax modem" in the
subject line.

Thanks

If you go to 'Control Panel|Phone and Modem Options|Modems', does the
Cardinal modem appear in the list?

Hal-

You got it first time! Thanks very much.

I didn't have the modem (or any modem, for that matter) "installed".

What's more, I had the Telephony API service disabled. This was because I
was trying to help my desperately slow Win XP system be a little faster.

Anyway, it looks like I'm back on the rails now. Thanks again!
