Microsoft "Security Center" Firewall? Need another too?

Hello!
I have bought independent Virus scnners like McAfee Virus
Scan (and various spyware scanners). So ok on that front.

However, my McAfee Firewall subscription expired. Since
I loaded Microsoft Service Pack 2, I have a Microsoft
Security Center. When I go into that, it tells me that
at least one firewall on my computer is turned on. McAfee
Firewall expired and I never bought or installed
another. Is there possibly a free firewall built into
Service Pack 2? It is sufficient or do I need to
purchase another too?

Your advice would be appreciated.

Kind regards,
Linda.

Thw windows fireqwall is goo enough for the most part.
But I recomend people to use Norton not McAfee. Norton
antivirus is a better product all the way around worth
your $$$$

Hi Linda,
Yes, there is a firewall built into SP2.
If I were to suggest another, I would buy a router with a built in NAT
firewall for the additional protection rather than use another software
based item. I usually check salescircular.com, and have bought them
recently for under $10 on sale with a rebate.
