My ISP is currently providing the McAfee Security Center free of charge
to subscribers. That suite consists of VirusScan, Personal Firewall,
Parental Controls, Identity Protection, Anti-Spyware and SiteAdvisor.

I use AntiVir Free Edition, WXP firewall with NAT router, Windows
Defender, and K9 Web Protection (parental control).

Any thoughts on whether to use the free offering from Cox or stay with
current programs?

If it was my situation, I would stay with what I had.

McAfee is probably the better AV - but all that other stuff...

IMO you have adequately assembled the needed basics already.
