Microsoft Picture and Fax Viewer

I currently have a cable modem and until yesterday could
double click email attachments (such as jpegs) from
within the email. Now when it asks me to open or save, I
choose open. The Windows Picture and Fax Viewer comes up
with the message "No preview available". I have to go
back, select Save, save to my hard drive and open from
there. What happened? My cable internet provider says
it is not them. Did some setting change? I have been on
the phone for about 2 hours with HP and my cable ISP
provider who both say it is not their issue.

Not sure, but delete your temporary files and see if this helps.
In IE6, click on Tools, Internet options, Delete files button in the middle
of the opening window.
