I am looking to buy Microsoft office 2007 professional plus for use at home.
Can anyone assist please with how many computers I can load this onto at
home

You can probably find the EULA online on Microsoft's web site.

Usually you are allowed to install office on one desktop machine and on one
laptop computer.
The Home and Student version allows install on up to 3 computers.

Thank you - have read the EULA and has left me confused.... I have three
desktop PC's at home and am not sure whether I can install in on more than
one. I note the response re laptop.

You might want to try OpenOffice.org first. It's a free download, you can
install on as many as you want. OpenOffice is quite MS Office compatible
- it will import and export MS Office files and works pretty much the
same way. Unless you have rather exotic requirements, it should fill the
bill.
