microsoft office updates

every time i open my internet or click on a link in my email or in/on a
site, i get a window that says 'please wait while windows configures
microsoft office professional edition 2003', and i have to cancel out
of it every time. ive tried everything to stop it! how do i make this
go away???

Try cleaning up your installer settings.

Before that though, run a chkdsk /f in a command prompt - say Y to the
prompt and reboot.
