Microsoft Office Outlook 2003

I recently defragmented and did a disk cleaned-up on my computer.
Now when I try to launch Microsoft Office Outlook I get a messege that says,
"The add-in C:\WINDOWS\system32\ActExt.dll could not be installed or loaded.
"This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu."
However, this does not correct the problem, but when I click OK the proposed
solution it loads.

Close Microsoft Outlook 2003 and delete the file named extend.dat. Since
you didn't mention what operating system you are using, the best I can say
is that under Windows XP, the location would be:

\Documents and Settings\<USERID>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Vista:
\Users\<USERID>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
