Microsoft Media Desktop 100

I just bought the Microsoft Media Desktop 100, which includes wireless
keyboard and mouse.
If I did not like it after I installed it (from the CD included), how would
I uninstall it? I looked all over the Internet but could find no info on how
to install. I looked in the booklet and no info on how to uninstall.
Does anyone know how I could uninstall? I see no place to query Microsoft
without being charged a fee, which I cannot afford.
Please advise and thank you.

If it's not in "Add/Remove Programs", see if there is an uninstall option on
the CD or in the Start menu.

She said she looked at the booklet. But, she didn't say whether she looked
under add/remove programs. Or if in the Start menu, it had a remove feature.

No 'manual' came with it. Just a three page "Start" piece of paper.
A disk came with it that I had to put into the computer so the software
could load (you must install this software according to the instructions).

IntelliType Pro 6.3
IntelliPoint 6.3

I don't want to put the disk in again for fear it might start loading
programs (again) automatically.

I thought someone might already own a MS Wireless Media Desktop 1000.

Sorry, but thought I mentioned....

I did look in Add/Remove and also in Start = nothing.

I looked for Microsoft wireless keyboard and keyboard, etc. = nothing.

I believe when I loaded the software (from the disk) that many programs were
loaded and that is why I thought it best to uninstall ALL of them and that is
why I am looking for an 'uninstall' feature/program, etc.

Since you have already installed the software and tried it, it won't hurt to
put the disk in the drive again and see if the uninstaller is on the disk. It
won't reload the programs again if they are already there. Go to My Computer
and right click the CD drive icon and click Open. It should show the files on
the disk. See if there is a .pdf set of instructions there.

Inserted the disk and it did not have anything on it relating to "uninstall"
or pdf. Really strange that it installs so much software and doesn't give
instructions on how to uninstall if you don't like it, etc.

Try and run the install routine again. I have seen installers that can
detect a previous install and offer a "repair" or "uninstall" option that
wasn't offered prior to installing the software the first time.

I think I found solution!!!!
I looked at the label on the installation disk and see the printing
"IntelliType Pro 6.3" and "IntelliPoint 6.3."
I then looked back in the Add/Remove and see the following:
Microsoft IntelliPoint 6.3 19.84MB
Microsoft IntelliType 6.3 20.99MB

I 'think' those two programs refer to the wireless keyboard and mouse. (I
was looking for something with the word 'keyboard' or 'mouse.'

Do you agree? If so, then I know how to delete the "Wireless media Desktop
1000" software (I hope!)
And thank you for your kind assistance and help.

I realize that.
I explained that I was looking for something relating to 'keyboard' or
'mouse' and not IntelliType and IntelliPoint, etc. That is why I did not find
it at first.
Thanks for your help Mark.
