Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 817177

I'm running IE 6 SP1 on Windows 2003 Advanced Server, and
have exactly the problem described in the KB article
817177, namely that no images are being displayed in the
Browser. I have determined that this is caused whenever I
view an image created in Adobe Photoshop 7 running on a
Mac OS 10 system. Once I have viewed such an image, IE6
will not render any more images. Trouble is, I often need
to view images created in this way.

This is a severe problem, and I desperately need the
hotfix mentioned in the article, which is apparently not
available for download.

What are my options, other than waiting for SP2?

Follow the instruction in 817177 as it tells you exactly how to get
the hotfix.
Don't hold your breath for something called SP2 that may never be
made.
