I'm running IE 6 SP1 on Windows 2003 Advanced Server, and
have exactly the problem described in the KB article
817177, namely that no images are being displayed in the
Browser. I have determined that this is caused whenever I
view an image created in Adobe Photoshop 7 running on a
Mac OS 10 system. Once I have viewed such an image, IE6
will not render any more images. Trouble is, I often need
to view images created in this way.
This is a severe problem, and I desperately need the
hotfix mentioned in the article, which is apparently not
available for download.
What are my options, other than waiting for SP2?
