IE6 SP2 hangs KB article 898050

XP SP2
IE6 has been experiencing hangs which match the description in KN article
898050. This article mentions a Hotfix to cure this problem. Has anyone
used this Hotfix with positive results?

I've used my 2 free support sessions. How can I obtain this Hotfix without
having to pay for it?

Hi,
If the support staffer detemines that the hotfix is an appropriate solution
to your problem and if you do not raise any other issues, you should not be
charged for the support call.

However, since that article/issue http://support.microsoft.com/kb/898050 is
over a year old (April 2005) You might post the details of your problem to
this newsgroup to see if other solutions come up.
