No matter what you say it "really" is, the wording that comes through to
customers computers in "View available updates" is what I said.

I never said it wasn't. I said it was truncated from the full name of the
bulletin.
Anyone that sets their computer updates on auto download and install is
insane.

That update applies to Vista, so I don't see your logic.

On the other hand I set systems to alert but not download and install, so I
can view what each update does and decide if it's needed on that particular
system. I prefer to have control over the updating process.
And that is what the average person relies on from Microsoft.

Ok, and there was no problem here. That update applies to Vista.
Microsoft seems to have the attitude of "So what, who cares; we've got
their
money, let them figure it out"

I don't see how that conclusion comes from a simple issue of truncating a
bulletin title.

I'm not trying to get into an argument here. I was just providing you with
some more info. I'm not sure why you're getting bent out of shape over it.
