Microsoft Impressions web beta removal

I installed Microsoft Impression Beta 1 some time ago. I recently decided
to purchase the Microsoft Impression Web update
to Front Page 2003. I attempted to remove Microsoft Impression beta 1 and
it would not remove and did not give an error
message, just that it would not uninstall successfully. I check Google and
tried a couple of downloads from Microsoft's site to
no avail. I then decided to manually remove the Microsoft Impression beta
directory and used Ccleaner to remove bad dlls relating
to Microsoft Impression beta I then checked the registry and found tons of
Microsoft Impression beta 1 references. I was afraid
to delete these.

Another thing that might be related to this problem is that I installed a
new hard drive and found that some of Microsoft's products
needed to have original disks to work again. Of course, there is no
original disks with the Microsoft Impression beta 1 to reinstall
to remove. The new updated version of Microsoft Impression Web indicates
that I need to remove the beta.

Help please! Thanks

Please note this is the "Windows XP General" discussion group. In an effort
to try to find your correct newsgroup, I did a search for "Microsoft
Impression" -- I can't find any such product. Do you mean "Microsoft
Expression"? If so, you can probably find help in one of these two
newsgroups:

microsoft.public.expression.discussion
microsoft.public.expression.webdesigner

Do you have CCleaner configured to run at boot?
No, I do not have it configure to run at boot. Will that make
a difference for my problem? I am not sure how do do that to operate
doing the boot.

when I get home.

To keep track of things, it helps immensely if you include all of previous
message(s) in your replies to the newsgroup. Thank you.

That wasn't a suggestion, just a question; futhermore it was posted as a
reply to Zap Eagle. Are you Zap Eagle?
