IE 6.0 Autocomplete Unsafe??

Don R

My bank has modified their log-on web page so that the autocomplete
feature of IE 6.0 no longer works. They say they are doing it for my
safety and theirs. What's interesting is that they recommend or suggest
using Firefox. I downloaded Firefox 2.0 beta and was impressed with
what they have done with the autocomplete feature.

Is Microsoft working on an upgrade to IE 6.0 that will address this
issue or is there an add-in I can install to get back to using IE 6.0
instead of Firefox?

Just turn off auto complete in the advanced options of Internet Explorer.
Remove the check from the box.
