microsoft IE won't work but netscape does

i am connected to the internet and can view all webpages on
netscape but when i connect to ie 6 i cannot view anything.
it it gives me the Dns error (page cannot be displayed) i
thought ie6 was the problem so i went back to ie5 but the
problem has not gone away. i don't mind using netscape to
view webpages but i need ie for a program i have on my
computer. can you help. thank you.

try firefox from mozilla.org. much more secure.

and scan for spyware to fix that clunky ie
spybot safer-networking.org
and update before scan
