I turn on my computer and everything works fine for a few minutes, but then
when i try to run a program, it pulls up this thing where it says "Microsoft
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconbenience." Then at the bottom it says "Send error report" or "Don't send
error report" When i his send error report it says error report completed and
doesnt give me any help. It does this for every program. Some of them it wont
even give me a error menu thing, it won't even run. Pleas Help Me!

I suppose it would not be helpful to point out that you have a problem? The
fact that your system seems to run "fine for a few minutes" leads me to
believe that there could be heat issues. Make sure all the fans are
running. Actually open up the case and look at the fans to make sure they
are turning. You could also have problems with RAM. One or more of your
RAM chips may be on the way out. Or, it could be a hard drive on the way to
failure. There are numerous causes for your symptoms.

before you address this as a heat issue, you might think that this is a
software issue and look in the event viewer for verification of this. the
easiest way to rule out software or program errors is to use the MMC
(Microsoft management console). After all, lets eliminate all other avenues
before blaming it on hardware and heat issues. Try this:

Right click on "My Computer"
Select "manage" - you are now in the MMC
Expand the "Event Viewer" in the left window pane
You should see the "Application, Security and System logs"

For this type of investigation, you will only be concerned with the
Application and System logs.

Click on the "Application log"
The Application log contains events logged by applications and programs.
what you will be looking for is warnings and error events. If you see any of
these two events you can click on them and possibly find a Knowledge base
article to describe the event. If you don't have any errors or warnings, you
would then look at the System event log. This is where you will find windows
operating system warnings and errors. you can find info on them the same way
as you would the application log issues.

If you are genuinly concerned about heat issues regarding the CPU, you can
always get a temperature reading from the BIOS. Simply reboot your PC and
look for the hotkey to press (in award BIOS you would press the delete key
during the POST). Once in the BIOS, look through the pages for a CPU temp and
you will get the true temperature for the harware. Normal operating
temperatures for most CPU's are between 94 and 110 degrees ferenhiet. I hope
this helps.
