Microsoft FingerPrint Reader

Hi

I am aware that Microsoft Fingerprint readers cannot be used to log on to
domains. If it is connected to a PC locally, my questions are:

1. How can we log on to those PCs that has Fingerprint readers configured on
them remotely?

2. What happens if the USB is plugged out?

Also, could anyone detail me any other implications involved.

Which is the best product that will enable me to log on to domain in terms
of price and features?

Thanks!

The regular logon screen with enforced strong passwords.

I was being facetious. There is a reason Microsoft doesn't support USB
fingerprint readers for logging on to a domain. They are easily compromised.
My recommendation would be to ditch the fingerprint readers and set up
strong passwords for all accounts on all the computers. For logging on
remotely you could then use Remote Desktop. If you don't use the fingerprint
readers then there is no need to worry if they are not plugged in. The best
product is to use the built in logon procedures. They are free and can be
easily configured for secure use.
