Microsoft Excel Error Starting MS Help

A coworker was having problems with office and ran the detect and repair back
to defaults. Since doing that, she is getting the error in the subject.

Help in Excel works if going into it from Help/Microsoft Excel Help. If she
selects a link in the Search Results pane, she gets the error.

I've searched and found others that have posted this issue, but no solutions
were provided. Is there a way to fix this?

This error is no longer happening. When I had the person open help from
Help/Microsoft Excel Help, the problem with clicking on links is fixed.
Below is all the information she gave me. Not sure what she meant by "search
links." I assumed it was from going into help and then typing a search term
in the Excel Help pane.

Issue reported : I can no longer get EXCEL help

After trying Help/Microsoft Excel Help: If I go into help from
Help/Microsoft Help, it works…just not when I select something from search
links.

Issue resolved: The interesting thing is that once I went into help the way
you told me to, now I can do a search and it works!
