Excel Solver Error: An unexpected internal error occurred...

I have a user the uses the "Solver" in Excel frequently. After installing
ActiveSync on her computer she started to get the following error every time
she tried to use the Solver: "An unexpected internal error occurred, or
available memory was exhausted"

We found the following Kb http://support.microsoft.com/kb/819033
This solution works but only temporarily. Once the computer is rebooted the
error persists and only an uninstall and reinstall of the updated addon works.

We are hoping for a solution that wont cause this user to have to do this
every time she wants to use the addon in Excel.
