Excel error when closing

We have a user that gets the following error whenever she exits out of Excel
"Microsoft Excel has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for any inconvenience". When she is working in Excel everything is fine,
it's only when she exits that she gets this message, it also doesn't matter
what file she is working in. This doesn't happen in any other Office
program. Is there a file that Excel writes to while it is exiting that may
be corrupt?

Try isolating the Excel toolbar customisation file (It may be hidden) called
*.xlb (Probably Excel.xlb), move it and then see if the issue subsides. If
so, just delete the old one as Excel will have created a new one.

If this fails try going to tools>add-ins and un-checking them all, adding
them then one-by-one, closing Excel and re-opening and then when the problem
comes back, that's the culprit
