Microsoft Backup

Is there any way to save the configuration in Microsoft Backup so you don't
have to select all the data files you want to backup every time you run
Backup?

IMO you're better off using a backup imaging application such as Norton Ghost or
Acronis True Image, either of which will create an exact image of the entire
system.

Open backup.
On the Menu bar click Tools > Options > Backup Type tab.
Select the type of backup you prefer.
Click Apply > Ok.

Read the Help files for information on the types of backups if you are not sure
of which type to use.
