Although the tick is in the box for the antispyware to startup automatically
at reboot- it does not. I don't want to put a shortcut in the startup system
folder as the whole antispyware application fires up and is rather cumbersome
as it loading itself in the background at sign on and puttin a symbol in the
system tray to show that it is runnung. If some one has the answer, please it
will save me from clicking on the shortcut every time I sign on- if I
remember to do that, Martin.

Hello Mart,
A) You can repair Windows AntiSpyware using Add or Remove Programs in
Control Panel. Click Microsoft AntiSpyware and click Change. Click Next, and
then click Updªte.

OR

B)Goto: Start/Control Panel/Add-Remove programs/MSAS then click on support
info!!! Then click on repair!

Let us know whether it does, or nºt!

I updated to the new version earlier on but the same problem persisted.I did
what you suggested and tried repairing to no avail.I thought I'd try
uninstalling and reinstalling.Hey Presto it fires up in the back ground and
appears in the system tray.I have been using this piece of software for some
time and like all other microsoft applications have found it very user
friendly and well thought out unlike some other manufacturers who leave you
guessing as to what to do and what is happening. Thanks from a very pleased
microsoft customer!Mart.
