When I mute my mic I cannot use it in Messenger or in sound recorder. I thought that when you muted
your mic then you wouldn't hear yourself but the person you talked to could hear you. When I use
Messenger Audio/Video tuning wizard it says Your microphone is not enabled. Would you like to
enable your microphone. I click yes and it still doesn't work. If I un mute the mic it works but
then I hear myself talking which I don't want. am I missing something here?? I know I used this
feature in Win98 and that's the way it worked in there. Thanks in advance
