mHotkey.exe error

I re-booted my Gateway desktop this morning running Windows XP-Media Center
Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2 using a wireless mouse and keyboard.

During the reboot I got an error message that "mHotkey.exe" encountered an
error. Although my mouse works just fine and most of my keyboard works
fine, there are some special buttons on the keyboard that do not work: Cut,
Copy, Paste, etc.

I called Gateway Tech Support and they want me to do a system rollback.
Before I do something that dramatic, I am wondering if there is anyone who
can give me so other support information regarding the mHotkey.exe problem.

The first thing to try is Gateways website. See if they have the software
for your keyboard and reinstall it.
