I recently upgraded to Outlook 2007 and the online status of different users
sometimes shows different colours even when they appear to have the same
status. Can someone please tell me what the different colours mean?

For example I have a contact on the To line with a white status symbol that
says 'offline' when I mouse over, and another with a pale yellow symbol that
also says 'offline' when I mouse over. Why the different colours for the same
status?

AFAIK; yellow means Away. There is also a half yellow symbol which means
"May be away" which is for when the status has been automatically been set
to Away which is an option in WLM after x minutes of inactivity.

Thanks for this but it didn't really answer my question (which may not have
been clear). I have one pale yellow symbol and 1 white symbol with both
having a status of 'offline'. Are there different levels of offline like
"online really but as you are blocked we show offline"?

Thanks for the response.
