Messenger and Hotmail

Since installing the SP2 I have not been able to access my Hotmail account
from Windows Messenger. How can I resolve this?

Try opening security,exceptions,enter explorer and messenger,this alows
outgoing data.

Thanks. I read among these posts that it is preferable to disable the
Windows Messenger and install and use the MSN Messenger. I think I will try
that. The Windows Messenger is already included among my "exceptions" and
that does not solve my problem. I have my Windows firewall disabled and am
using ZoneAlarm.
