Messages not sent nor received in exchange 2k

I have an Exchange 2k Server and enabled in my outlook deliver and read
notifications, The problem is that if I send a local email to my own inbox
neither I received a notification of the sent messange nor I receive the
message. So i dont receive any messages, services seems to be working just
fine, DB are up and smtp queue is empty. No error message in event veiwer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

So you're saying that:

1. You cannot email yourself (from your Exchange mailbox to your Exchange
mailbox) at all within Outlook
2. Delivery status notifications (DSNs) are not being received when you send
mail to other mailboxes on your Exchange server as well as yourself?
3. Same as #2 but for read receipts?

I don't know that DSNs and Read Receipts will work with your own mailbox
(sending to yourself) - I'd doubt it. And I'm not sure why one would even
attempt that, to be honest.

As to #1, you ought to be able to e-mail yourself. Are you having problems
receiving mail from other senders?

Why are you emailing yourself?
