messages go twice

when I send a message it goes twice. I click only one time. What do I need
to do to fix this problem? I'm using professional office xp 2002.

Does this also occur when you run Outlook in safe mode? Start-> Run-> path
to outlook.exe /safe?

'could be that you have two email accounts defined by mistake (each one sends
the same message ) Do you also get two copies of incoming mail?
