Error when closing Outlook 2003

I got a laptop with Windows XP home edition. I installed Office 2003 Student
edition, and every time I closed Outlook (manually) I got an error message
that states that "Microsoft Office Outlook had encountered a problem and
needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." It then gives me the
option to restart Microsoft Office Outlook and to send an error report. I
have downloaded all available updates, and I have reinstalled Office twice.
When I still got the error messages almost every time that I closed Outlook,
I installed Office Professional edition and the problem persists. Microsoft
does not have any fixes for this problem. Can anyone help?
